Do you know what chimping is???

I came across these videos at SportsShooter.com yesterday and had a few laughs watching ‘em. It’s pretty funny to see how all the professional shooters do it, even though they don’t admit it!
Check them out!

Of course, I never ever CHIMP!!! You can be sure about that… That’s the good part of shooting film!!!
Anyway if you shoot digital, you’d most probably be chimping *BUT* don’t worry about it ’cause you are not alone.

Chimping
A humorous term that describes a habit of digital photography (especially when using a Digital SLR) by checking photos on the LCD.

Uses:
- When a photographer gets excited like a monkey of a recent shot on the LCD and makes actions and sounds. (Oooh! Oooh! Aaah!)
- When a photographer is completely absorbed in the act of admiring a photo or proudly showing it off to others.
- By experienced photographers to describe the actions of “wannabe” photographers.
- The act of constantly removing the camera from your eye and review each and every shot again and again.
- The act of reviewing photos more often than taking photo.
